This performance piece was created for a show put on by Greg Hanac at the Graffiti Gallery in Winnipeg. I am using a wiimote to control the video (when it is recorded & which screen it goes to) camera is being operated by Les Klasssen.
This work was created in response to the idea of Amphiboly and is a development of the performance process discovered in ‘Hands’ (2008). I was greatly interested by making physical choices, seeing them from the outside (through video) and witnessing the external perspective presented by the video affect my next physical impulse, as well as allow for the interaction of external (visual) and internal (somatic) compositional choices.
